Matt Lietzen

Senior Pastor

Matt was called to Resurrection in the summer of 2023. Before moving to Madison, Matt served as a pastor in the Washington, D.C. area and in Indianapolis, Indiana. Matt desires to see the good news of Jesus transform people’s lives for God’s glory and the good of the world.

Matt holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary (DC). He also serves on staff with The Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics.

Matt and his family (wife, Kelsey and daughter, Emery), live on the West side.

Emily Setodji

Administrative Assistant

Emily joined the staff at Resurrection in 2023, having attended the church with her family since 2019. With a strong desire to support the church community, she enjoys working behind the scenes to help facilitate its mission.

Emily and her husband, Romaric, live in the area with their three children: Fabian, Nadia, and Rafael. She welcomes questions and inquiries, encouraging anyone to reach out for assistance.

Ruben Arndt

Worship Ministry

Ruben has been with Resurrection since its pre-launch in 2016 and helped launch RUF at UW-Madison.

A lifelong Madisonian and eastsider, he is humbled by the awe of God and how the Spirit moves through art. Ruben owns a small private music school where he teaches creative music to all ages, and he is also a special education teacher at Sun Prairie East High School.

He and his wife, Stephanie, live on Madison’s far east side with their Great Dane, Magnolia.

Amanda Henry

Children's Ministry

Amanda joined the staff of Resurrection in 2023. She has a heart for working with children, and has taught in schools in Central America through missions work and in her current role teaching elementary special education in DeForest Schools.

Amanda has a degree in early childhood development. She lives on Madison's north side and in her free time, you can find Amanda having fun with her nieces and nephews.
